Tynegrain is the North’s leading grain drying and storage co-operative which also benefits from its deep water export berth on Tyne Dock. Built in 1983 we now dry over 80,000 tonnes of oilseed rape and cereals per annum. Our export facility despatches, on average, 200,000 tonnes of products to countries world-wide every year. Tynegrain provides Northern cereal growers direct farmer controlled export access to European and International markets through the 60,000 M.T. capacity silo. Deep water vessels of up to 55,000 M.T. can be competitively loaded at our silo with sales achieved to a wide range of destinations including Algeria, China, Cyprus, Italy, Israel, Korea, Morocco, Russia, Spain, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia.
